The scope and future of KPO industry is bright and happening. Several surveys conducted by the research bodies have revealed that KPO has got a long way to go. By the year 2010, KPO sector is expected to reach a whooping USD 17 billion. Out of this, India is expected to bag around USD 12 billion in all. Indian KPO sector would be employing around 250,000 Knowledge professionals.

NASSCOM (National Association of Software and Services Companies) has bright predictions for KPO industry. It predicts that India and other Asian names providing KPO services will emerge as powerful KPO destinations. Around 70 percent of outsourcing sector’s services is predicted to be captured by KPO sector.

It is not just the Asian countries emerging in the KPO sector but countries such as Russia, China, the Czech Republic, Ireland, and Israel are expected to come up as KPO providers.
